Ben Nneji, President and Founder
Ben Nneji, Ph.D., is the founder and president of SigmaWorks Group, which used to be a part of Omnicom Group, Inc., but became a separate company in 2012. Ben is responsible for the firm’s delivery and implementation of actionable, data-driven solutions, which includes the Six Sigma process improvement programs for companies in service industries.

Ben is focused on driving growth and productivity through innovative and effective integration of people, processes and technology. Ben has extensive experience in information-based marketing and has led and managed change in the retail, telecommunication, financial services and advertising industries. He has also managed key line and corporate functions, such as, CRM development and deployment, marketing, campaign management, modeling and analytics, data management, quality, pricing, product development and client relationship management.

Ben is also skilled in managing the use of analysis and quantitative methods to solve customer relationship problems in other industries such as Telecommunications and Retail. Ben successfully led customer relationship improvements and solutions delivery for ATT, a premier US Telecom company, and at JCPenney, one of the leading US retail brands. Ben is skilled in using qualitative and quantitative information to develop program strategy. He has achieved tangible results in business turn-around situations. He is a strong practitioner, advocate and champion of identifying appropriate strategy and tactics, then using various methods, including Six Sigma process re-engineering, metrics, measurements, technology and change management methods to achieve desired changes and make them stick.

Ben has implemented numerous internal process improvement programs at Rapp, a leading direct marketing services agency, for account teams working on clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Mead Johnson, ATT, PepsiCo and others. His team has also completed successful assignments for BBDO Chicago, TPN in Dallas, Interbrand in New York and CAHG in Chicago, and with many other companies US wide.

As Vice President, Marketing and Group CRM Leader at GE Capital (now GE Money), he prototyped a Six Sigma process for driving core growth through CRM. While at GE, Ben led a team that developed and deployed a CRM infrastructure using a multi-generation deployment strategy. He also setup and led a team of strategic marketers and database marketers to drive delivery of direct marketing campaigns for over 30 major retailers in the United Kingdom, and established and led a team that brought a data-driven marketing culture to divisions of GE Consumer Finance in over 25 countries. He was a member of the senior leadership team that achieved a remarkable 100%+ increase in net income per year for GE Consumer Finance.

Ben holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University, New York. He wrote his thesis on the impact of organization of work on productivity. Ben is a senior member of the American Society of Quality who has been invited as guest speaker at many industry conferences.
